Dr. Vic Goradia is the primary surgeon at G2 Orthopedic and Sports Medicine and a nationally known expert in arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, joint replacement, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Goradia doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to shoulder, knee and other injuries. His approach is to create customized treatment plans for his patients. Learn more about Dr. Vic Goradia and G2 Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

1. Cartiform Cartilage Transplantation:

In this video, Dr. Goradia describes (while performing) a cartilage transplantation treatment option using a donor or allograft cartilage known as Cartiform®.

2. Preserve ACL Surgery:

Traditional ACL reconstruction requires surgeons to replace the torn ACL with a graft, with Preserve ACL Surgery, surgeons can repair the torn ACL instead of replacing it.

3. Biceps Tendon Repair in Shoulder-Biceps Tenodesis:

As surgical options have improved, surgeons are treating the bicep tendons by removing the damaged portion and re-attaching healthy tendon back to the bone. Thus, improving patient outcomes after shoulder surgery.

4. Double Row Rotator Cuff Repair:

The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons in the shoulder that normally function to elevate the arm. Most rotator cuff tears involve detachment of the rotator cuff tendon from the humerus bone making the arm painful and weak.

Treatment of Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tear:

Outlines an arthroscopic treatment known as Super Capsular Reconstruction (SCR) for rotator cuffs that are badly torn and cannot be repaired. SCR may be an alternative to a more invasive Reverse Shoulder Replacement.

Dr. Goradia doesn’t believe in a one size fits all approach to shoulder, knee and other injuries. He takes the time to fully evaluate each patient, makes the right diagnosis and develops a customized treatment plan. Simply put, Dr. Goradia provides the highest level of care available in the Richmond area. Book an appointment now.
